Mo Chicken Please

Friends, Family and Community

THE BROWN LUNCH BAG STORY
A favorite childhood memory of mine was the ride from Chicago to Huntsville, Alabama.
Whether by a bus or train meant a brown-bag lunch of my favorite childhood meal, fried chicken.
The anticipation of eating the chicken drove me crazy.
My thoughts were, how do I make this feast last the 15- hour ride.
We at Smitty & Mo's are committed to cultivating delicious foods for you to share.
Building memories through the comfort of food and love
are what we do.

Smitty & Mo ’s named for my father, Maurice “Mo” Vann; and his best friend Walter also know as "Smitty" The two have been friends since they were teenagers. They shared countless stories about growing up in Huntsville. I can remember hearing about all the good times and good food they experienced. Whether out on an adventure or at a family get-together, bonding over Bid Whist. Mo and Smitty were always in the middle of the action. Our restaurant pays homage to these two friends and their appetite for life!
